Hon Oluokun flags-off Omituntun Free Medical Outreach, Reiterates Commitment to Healthcare
The Executive Chairman, Oyo East Local Government, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola on Tuesday 20th of May flagged off the free healthcare outreach through the Oyo State ministry of health tagged Omi-tuntun free Medical Mission for residents of Oyo East Local Government.
While flagging off the exercise, Hon. Oluokun acknowledged that it is the Government’s responsibility to ensure basic quality healthcare services to its people, most especially at the grassroots level where the majority of the people cannot afford quality healthcare services which has led to the untimely death of loved ones.
In his words, “This is a health scheme packaged under the Omi tuntun Healthcare by Engr Seyi Makinde to address the yearning desires of the majority to enable all citizens to access the package. Hence, the need for this initiative to give free treatment to the residents within Oyo East communities”
“By supporting free healthcare services, our administration aims to improve the health outcomes of its citizens, particularly vulnerable groups such as children, people of old age, and women. This effort demonstrates the government’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for its people”

Hon commended the team doctor and all health workers for their professionalism and uncluttered arrangements of people to make the program a successful one
The permanent secretary, ministry of health commended Hon Oluokun for providing all necessary supports for the hitch free of the free healthcare program
