In recognition for his exceptional leadership and invaluable contributions to health Initiatives, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru on Tuesday received accolades for his achievements in strengthening maternal health in the council and empowering pregnant women and PHC staff through digital care.
The event, organized by the National Health Fellows, brought together stakeholders, and policymakers to discuss maternal and mental health-related challenges and innovative solutions within the health fellows. It also served as a platform to celebrate local government and individuals who have demonstrated visionary leadership and consistent support for primary health programs.
The Executive Chairman, Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru represented by the HLGA, Egbeda Local Government, Dr. Monsurat Alaga, expressed gratitude to the National Health Fellows for the award recognition to the exceptional and fantabulous chairman of egbeda local government, ” Hon. Sanda believes that no mother should lose her life while giving life. That is why his administration continues to invest in primary health care facilities, promote digital health innovations, and support capacity building for our PHC staff”.
