The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon (Mrs) Toyin Balogun has extolled virtues of the two female lawmakers in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
This was as the two female lawmakers, Hon Bisi Oluranti representing Ogbomosho North State Constituency and Hon Olajide Comforter, representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 marked their 100 days in office with laudable achievements.
While Oluranti conducted free health outreach and empowerment for her constituents, Comforter inaugurated her constituency office.
The Hon Commissioner who has been championing the cause of women and the girl-child initiative for decades lauded the lawmakers and commended them for keying into the visionary leadership of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde by embarking on initiatives, policies and programmes that have direct benefits and impacts on the lives of those at the grassroots. Her words:
“Hearty congratulations to Hon Bisi Oluranti ( member HOA representing Ogbomosho North Constituency) and Hon Comforter Olajide ( member HOA representing Ibadan North Constituency 1) for celebrating their 100 days in office through impactful health oriented and tangible empowerment programmes respectively.
