Ibadan Airport Upgrade: Hon Wole Akinleye Lauds Gov Makinde’s Vision for a Better Society

 

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye has lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, H.E, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE for his exemplary vision for a better and prosperous pacesetter state, particularly on the official flag off and upgrade of the Ibadan Airport from been a Local to International standard.

Hon Akinleye expressed his satisfaction in the governor’s developmental projects, which are targeted towards meeting the needs of the people of Oyo State and also woo investors into the state. He commended the Governor on the upgrade of the local airport to an international airport, a major significant step towards increasing the state Internal Generated Revenue and also serve as a means of job creation not forgetting connectivity for the people of Oyo state.

“His Excellency is a passionate man whose vision for the state is unmatched” Akinwole said. “On behalf of the good people of Akinyele Local Government, we commend the Governor for his commitment towards developing our dear state, we acknowledge his visionary leadership dexterity which has put Oyo State in the global community as the Pacesetter state in the country.”

The Chairman also use the avenue to acknowledge the governor’s sensitivity towards his stance on the presumptive tax law.

The chairman said, “Only a sensitive leader can think deeply and put the interest of his people at heart like the way Mr Governor has done. Leaders of his caliber are very rare and Oyo state is proud to have him as the Governor of the State”, He affirmed.

He however reiterated that Akinyele Local Government would continue to support the Governor’s initiative, consolidate on his agenda and collaborate with relevant stakeholders and agencies in the state to bring developments to the grassroots so as to aid sustainable development and progress.
