Ibarapa Central/ North PDP Stakeholders Unite For 2023 Elections, Resolve To Work For All Party Candidates

They say all politics is local and its success is dependent on the strategic planning and hard work of like minds coming together to forge a formidable alliance. Yesterday the 31st of October, 2022, the Ibarapa Central/North Federal constituency leaders and critical stakeholders of the ruling political party (Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, converged in Igboora, Ibarapa cenyral L.G.A.

The meeting, which was convened by the party and held at the residence of Dr. Adebayo Adepoju, the PDP candidate for the House of Representatives, was well attended by party stalwarts in the constituency. During the meeting, several party favorable resolutions were reached. The stakeholders resolved to shelve all grievances and work for all party candidates.

 

 

The people of the constituency expressed gratitude to the executive governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his resolve to concentrate on the infrastructural needs of the Ibarapa people and his decision to flag off his second term gubernatorial campaign in Igboora.

 

The critical stakeholders also passed a strong message of unity to all other parties in the community by deciding to build a formidable campaign council around all stakeholders in the constituency.

 

 

In the buildup to the 2023 elections, some stakeholders capable of steering the affairs of the campaign were announced.

 

 

The complete list of members of the campaign council will be released within the next few weeks. The initial list of appointees are as follows:

The inauguration of the entire campaign council has been scheduled for the last week in November. Important dignitaries that attended the well-graced event include Ijaya, the member representing Ibarapa Central and North State constituency; Hon. Peter Gbadegesin, The PDP Federal House of Representative candidate; Dr. Adebayo Adepoju, The executive chairman of Ibarapa local government; Mr. Doyin Adeoye, The executive vice-chairman Ibarapa North L.G; Hon. Samuel Adegbenjo, the Peoples’ Democratic Party chairmen of both local governments; Mr. Akinlolu Olugbade and Mr. Ojoogun Olayiwola.

 

Others include the former Oyo state commissioner for Environment; Mr. Majekodunmi Aborode, Former Oyo state commissioner for Local government and special duties; Mrs. Funmilayo Orisadeyi, Mr. Kolawole Olarenle, Chief Ademola Eyinade (Elejire), Special Adviser on constituency matters; Hon Monsuru Oduola, Member Tourism board; Hon Okedigba, Member Oyo state sports council; Alhaji Fatai Ogungbenro, Civil service commissioner; Chief Solomon Ogunjinmi, Former Ibarapa central/north State honourable member; Hon. Tunde Adegbenjo. PDP state executive member; Chief Oladokun, Former caretaker local government chairman; Alhaji Rufai, Chief Laoye, Mr. Shola Fakorede, Mr. Akeem Akintola, Mr. Ojebode, Mrs. Bose Olayanju, Mr. Bisi Akande and several PDP local government party exco members and a host of many important dignitaries too numerous to mention.
