IBARAPA North PDP YOUTH’ GRIEVANCES RESOLVED AS PARTY LEADERS CALL FOR UNITY

Sequel to the directives of Governor Seyi Makinde to the PDP leaders to resolve with immediate alacrity all the grievances and rancour emanating from the youths of Ibarapa North Local Government upon the choice of the house of assembly consensus candidate, Hon. Peter Ojedokun.

 

 

 

 

It would be recalled that the party leaders called a stakeholders meeting of the party throughout the region on Easter Monday 18th of April, 2022. on best way to resolve all lingering issues in the party arising from Ibarapa North Local Government over the consensus candidate of Hon. Ojedokun.

As a follow-up to that meeting another meeting was held on Sunday the 15th of this month in Ayete. Chief Solomon Ogunjimi who is one of the party leaders from the local government opened the floor of the meeting by speaking the heart of the leaders to the youth and the party faithfuls.

 

 

 

 

Alh. Muniru Mustopha spoke on behalf of the youths said Hon. Peter Ojedokun had not done well with the party structure in the local government most especially Ayete community in particular. In his speech, he further noted that Hon. Ojedokun had not contributed in anyway to the progress of the party.

Olori Odo in his own speech accused Hon. Ojedokun of doing an empowerment in Igangan and sidelining Ayete and other communities that make up his constituency.

 

 

 

Adeoti Nurudeen also expressed grievances saying Hon. Ojedokun did not perform up to expectation but was optimistic he could still perform better.

Hon. Bisi Akande, who is also an aspirant for the position of the Oyo state House of Assembly from the constituency implored all members to bury their GRIEVANCES and shed their personal issues. He also implored everyone to understand that party decisions and objectives is superior to individual motives.

 

 

 

While addressing the issues, Alhaji Akeem Kuso apologized to the youth and promised them more dividends of democracy, he also advised the youth to focus more on what can unite the party because the APC government at the federal level had impacted the entire country negatively.

 

 

 

On the final note, Dr. Adebayo Anthony Adepoju appreciated the efforts of the executive governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, the party leaders and the youths of the constituency for their unrelenting efforts in ensuring victory for the PDP. He also apologized to the Youths of Ayete community and the constituency at large, he assured them of better days ahead and said he was optimistic Hon. P G Ojedokun will make it up to the constituency.

Dr. Adebayo rounded off the meeting after the Youths in the constituency accepted the plea of the leaders. They chanted positive party slogans, sang the party anthem and promised all the leaders that the party in now one and more prepared to face the challenges ahead. Based on the unification of the party they promised to work tirelessly to ensure victory and pledged their absolute loyalty to the PDP.
