Ibarapakan Celebrates Pa Olanrele at 79, Describes PDP Chieftain as Father Figure
Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North in the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated Elder Olanrele Kolawole Salako, popularly known as Great Mother, on the occasion of his birthday.
The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) turns 79 on Monday, November 11, 2024.
In his congratulatory text on Monday, Hon. Adepoju expressed his admiration for Great Mother’s sterling leadership qualities and his unalloyed support for the PDP at all levels.
He described the septuagenarian as a disciplinarian par excellence and one who is always unwilling to bend or flex his principles, even if it means missing out on material advantages.
The federal lawmaker recognised Elder Olanrele’s tremendous impact on his political career and on the lives of the people he serves as a father figure to in Ibarapa Land, stressing that his political history would be incomplete without Pa Kolawole.
Hon. Adepoju remarked that at close to eight decades on earth, Elder Olanrele is no doubt a custodian of history, praying to God to grant the celebrant renewed strength and health for the new generation to drink for long from the ocean of his wealth of knowledge and inspiring leadership attributes.
