Ibarapakan Congratulates Funmilayo Orisadeyi On Appointment As Member Emmanuel Alayande University of Education Governing Council
Member Representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated Hon. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Okikiola Orisadeyi on her appointment and inauguration as member of the Governing Council of the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo.
The Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, inaugurated a 5-man Governing Council for Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, on Monday, December 11, 2023, where the former state lawmaker and ex-commissioner for local government and chieftaincy matters joined four other distinguished individuals who were recently inaugurated.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Adepoju described Hon. (Mrs.) Orisadeyi as a woman of substance whose wealth of knowledge in public administration is second to none.
The lawmaker also expressed his gratitude to Gov. Makinde over the appointment of Hon. (Mrs.) Orisadeyi, noting that Governor Makinde’s principle, which is built on the foundation of fairness and equity, has helped shape the Ibarapa region of Oyo State in the last 4 years.
“We have never had it good this way. Since the election of Engr. Seyi Makinde in 2019, the Ibarapa region, just like other regions of Oyo State, has enjoyed the full presence of the state government.
“We receive the appointment of Hon. (Mrs.) Orisadeyi as member of the governing council of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, with ecstasy. This is not because she is one of us but because it is an opportunity to serve Oyo State and Nigeria at large, with the assurance that her knowledge will enhance the standard of the reputable institution.
“We appreciate Gov. Makinde’s commitment to fairness and equity, which has brought about cohesion and accelerated development in Oyo State,” Ibarapakan said.
While appreciating the governor, Hon. Adepoju said Mama Orisadeyi will leave no stone unturned to display her expertise and extensive knowledge in advancing the goals and objectives of the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, into becoming a true first-generation citadel of learning.
