Ibarapakan Facilitates Greenhouse Project to Empower Farmers in His Constituency
Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has facilitated a greenhouse project in Igboora, Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State, primarily to empower some farmers in the federal constituency.
The project, which is located around Olu-Aso Palace, Onimangoro Road, Igboora, is already about 50% to completion and was facilitated by the federal lawmaker to create a controlled environment for growing plants in order to have a year-round agricultural produce for consumption.

According to Hon. Adepoju, the greenhouse will be used to empower some farmers, thereby helping the constituency get closer to achieving sustainable goal of food security in the nearest future.
He added that the cost of constructing the project is high, expressing his gratitude to the federal government of Nigeria for making it possible for him to facilitate the project in his federal constituency. He said the greenhouse allows growing healthy crops for consumption by protecting plants against extreme temperatures and pests as well as allowing efficient use of resources such as an efficient irrigation system and other materials that enhance plant growth.

Hon. Adepoju stressed that the facility will also be supported with natural additives, organic and inorganic, and mulching materials for crop growth, which can lead to higher yields and improved quality, thereby resulting in the actualisation of the overall idea around the project.
The lawmaker, however, said that every town in the federal constituency is unique and will have a fair share and distribution of projects, which may not be the same and happen at the same time.
