The lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has shared some of his most treasured moments during the just concluded 2023 Igboora World Twins Festival.
Sharing the moment on his official X, Facebook and Instagram pages at noon on Sunday, October 15, 2023, the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character wrote:
“Nothing beats the joy of learning that you or someone close to you has given birth to a set of twins.
“To say we still celebrate the new birth of twins in Igboora is a sign that twins are not just a rare gift from God but a magnificent phenomenon that has become the norm in our community.
It’s such an uncommon way of life here that it makes you wonder why you haven’t had twins yet as a couple. That is the reality of Igboora as a community.
“Special thanks yet again to everyone for this great discovery; it is a big boost to our tourism industry in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
“Some of my interesting moments with twins on the occasion of the 2023 Igboora World Twins Festival in Igboora yesterday. It was an awe-inspiring time during the display of twins during the just concluded festival, and to say we are the Twins Capital of the World is indeed an understatement.”
