IFTAR: OLUBADAN FETES AARE MUSULUMI, AARE-IN-COUNCIL AND IMAMS
The Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola and his council members joined the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji on Sunday for Ifta.
Opening prayer was by the Amirul Wasin of Oyo State & Khalefah, Quadriyah In Oyo State, Sheikh Muhiydeen Najimdeen
Sermon by Khalefah Quazim Akilapa which dwelled on roles and duties of the King and Leaders In Society- The Islamic Perspective, a sermon that drew tears from the eyes of the Olubadan
Dr Barihi Adetunji, a prince and Grand Mufasir of Ibadanland,on behalf of the Royal family, expressed Appreciation To the visitors
Khalefah Dawud Oluwakemi and Dr Ibrahim Adebolu, Vice Chairman Oyo State Pilgrim Welfare Board(Muslim Wing) made supplications for Ibadan, Olubadan, Oyo State, Government and Nigerians

Aare later thanked the Olubadan for inviting and warmly receiving him and his council members while he also gave kudos to the Olubadan & his council members for the peaceful atmosphere in Ibadan. He prayed for good health & long life for the Olubadan & ensuring peace in Yorubaland _ Nigeria. The Aare counsel all Ummah to continue to be of good conduct & brotherly dispositions to their neighbors even after the end of this Ramadan. Muslims were asked to watch out for the new moon of the month of Shawwal from the evening of Ramadan 29th, 1442A.H i.e Tuesday, 11th May, 2021.
Olubadan appreciated the Aare and his council for honouring the Iftar and specially thanked the Aare for his many good efforts which the Olubadan said has been long before he became Aare. The Olubadan further pray for enduring peace, love, growth and greater development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
