Ibadan North Local Government Chairman, Hon Shaib Yusuff Oladayo popularly known as Agba Egbe has reassured his constituents of his commitment towards driving development for the good of all.
Agba Egbe who was a former board member of Oyo Waste Management Authority stated this Tuesday during a media chat with journalists in his office, Agodi, Ibadan. He said that the commitment to bring about development in Ibadan North remains intact.
He further explained that Ibadan North has the capacity to become the envy of other local governments across the state, adding that the local government is endowed with the resources to achieve it. Hon Oladayo noted that his agenda to transform the council is in tandem with the four cardinal programmes of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, these include, Health, Education, Security and Economy.
He said, “as the people’s representative in government, I will impact the lives of those at the grassroots positively. “I will key into the four-cardinal point agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration aimed at lifting the people from poverty to prosperity and delivering the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
“I will familiarize myself with the Local Government Laws and Local Government Service Commission Laws of Oyo State to guide me on the operational activities of the council. As the government at the grassroots, I will ensure that people- oriented programmes and projects are made as my priorities.”
