Jagaban’s Demise: Arapaja Sympathizes with family, NASS, Oyo Govt
The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has commiserated with the Speaker Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass and other members of the House over the loss of their colleague, Hon. Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi Jagaban who died in the early hours of yesterday and has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Amb. Taofeek Arapaja equally extended his condolence message to the Oyo State government, Ibadan North federal constituency and the immediate family that the deceased left behind.
In a condolence message issued by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja but made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, Amb. Arapaja expressed deep shock over the incident, saying that the deceased was just more than a federal lawmaker because of the way he had been committed to serving his people.
Amb. Arapaja stressed that late Hon. Akinremi Jagaban’s unwavering dedication to his community set him apart as a leader of extraordinary integrity and his commitment to the well-being of all citizens have left an indelible impact on the society.
Amb. Arapaja said though Hon. Akinremi is no more, his contributions to the society in the area of healthcare, education, and community development will be remembered for a long time.
Amb. Arapaja who was once a member of the House of Representatives, enjoined his family and political associates to accept what has happened as the Will of Almighty Allah and take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a purposeful and impactful life, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him Aljanah Fridaous.
