JUST IN: Makinde Approves N235 Billion for Construction of Ibadan Circular Road Phase 2
The Seyi Makinde led government has approved the phase of the Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road measuring 39 kilometers.
The approval came during the 16th State Executive Council briefing held today at the Governor’s Media Briefing Room, Secretariat, Ibadan.
Speaking at the briefing, the State’s Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola said the Seyi Makinde led administration has pledged to complete the second phase of the circular road within the next eighteen months before leaving office at the cost of N235 billion.
Mogbonjubola noted that the government has also approved rehabilitation of inner roads in Ogbomosho costing the state a sum of 55 billion naira.
Also speaking, Commissioner for Energy, Professor Dahud Shangodoyin said the government approved solar lighting on Orita-Aperin to Olorunsogo for nightfall illumination, as well as back up energy source to include solar and hybrid generators on Onipepeye, Odogbo Barracks with a sum of #348 million and #231 million naira respectively.
Other approvals includes #389 million naira for beddings across the 58 secondary healthcare facilities in Oyo state.
