Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku and other chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have arrived Ibadan for the inauguration of a remodeled Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba in Ibadan.
GOALPOACHER NEWS reports that Atiku who was accompanied by some PDP chieftains arrived the governor’s office, State Secretariat, Agodi, at exactly 12:35pm.
On his entourage are Sen. Abiodun Olujimi representing Ekiti South Senatorial District at the Red Chamber and Sen. Dino Melaye, former senator (Kogi West).
The PDP candidate in the 2019 presidential election was received by his host, Gov Seyi Makinde at the entrance of the governor’s office and went into a close door meeting.
It is expected that Atiku, some serving governors and other dignitaries; including the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, will join Gov Makinde, to officially unveil the remodelled Lekan Salami Sports Complex, by 6pm on Wednesday.
