Lana Group For Seyi Hails Makinde For Appointing Shete As Aide, Says Gov Will Fulfill Promise

Members of the Group ‘Lana Fun Seyi’ have commended the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on the appointment of one of its members, Hon Olakunle Akinsete as Special Adviser.

Recall that Seyi Makinde approved the appointment of Olakunle Akinsete as Special Adviser on Housing and Urban Development in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.

The Lana Fun Seyi, an umbrella body for all House of Assembly candidates appreciated the Governor for keeping to his promise he made to them during electioneering where he promised to appoint members of the Lana Fun Seyi into his government if he was reelected for a second term.

The group described Shete’s appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
