Late Akinremi Jagaban Remembered as Hon. Demola Omotoso Mourns a Friend with Large Heart

 

The Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Demola Omotoso, has expressed his profound condolences to the family of the late Hon. Akinremi Jagaban, who passed away yesterday.

In a heartfelt message, Hon. Omotoso described the late Akinremi Jagaban as a friend with a large heart and a consummate political leader.

“It is with great sadness that I received the news of the passing of Hon. Akinremi Jagaban”

“Hon. Akinremi Jagaban was a dedicated politician and a man of integrity. We shared a common vision for the development of our beloved Oyo State, and it was an honour to work alongside him. I will miss his counsel, his friendship, and his unwavering commitment to service.”

Hon. Omotoso recalled their shared political journey, having both contested for the House of Representatives seat in the North Federal Constituency of Oyo State in 2019.

“Although we came from different political parties, I was impressed by Hon. Akinremi Jagaban’s passion for the people and his willingness to work across party lines for the greater good. It was this spirit of collaboration and unity that made him such an exceptional leader, and one that I will always admire and respect.”

Hon. Omotoso went on to express his condolences to Hon. Akinremi Jagaban’s family, stating: “May the Almighty grant them the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. May the soul of our dear departed colleague, Hon. Akinremi Jagaban.”

“We mourn the passing of a great man, but we also celebrate his life and the legacy he left behind. Hon. Akinremi Jagaban was a shining example of what it means to be a public servant, and his commitment to the people of Oyo State will not be forgotten.”

In closing, Hon. Omotoso called on political leaders across the state to emulate the late Hon. Akinremi Jagaban’s spirit of service and commitment to unity, stating,

“Let us honour his memory by redoubling our efforts to build a better Oyo State for all its citizens.”
