A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oloye Babatunde Ologburo has said that the late Chief Imam of Oyo town, Dr Masood Adebayo Ajokidero will be remembered for his impeccable service to Islam and the ancient town, as well as his passion towards public enlightenment.
Ologburo who is the Sanmori Adini of Oyoland, condolence message is contained in a statement signed by him and made available to newsmen said the late Muslim cleric made remarkable impacts on all a d sundry.
According to him, “It is really sad news for all of us to learn that our beloved Dr Masood is no more. He was a personality of faith, who dedicated his life to Islamic education.
“His emphasis on the unity of Muslims and good education will always be remembered.
“I offer my heartfelt condolences and pray for the eternal repose of his soul.”
