Leave politics, face problems around your office as Iyaloja – group urges Folashade Abeo
Ibadan Network for Peace (INP) has urged the Iyaloja-General of Oyo State, Princess Azeezat Folashade Abeo, to focus on the problems facing her office, rather than getting caught up in politics.
This was contained in a statement issued by the group’s coordinator, Ismail Akanmu which was made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Friday.
He warned that she should not waste time on political squabbles.
“I implore you to leave politics to the politicians, and focus on the issues that affect the people.
“Your insistence that you remain Iyaloja-Geberal of Oyo State has polarized the united umbrella body for all market clusters.
“People deserve a leader who is focused on solving their problems, not one who is preoccupied with power struggles and commenting on political matters in a bid to giant cheap popularity.
“The people need a leader who is able to provide them with the services and resources they need, not one who is busy fighting for personal gain ana issuing needless congratulatory messages on political affairs.
“I hope that you will heed my words and use your time and energy to make a difference in the lives of the people of Oyo State if indeed you’re Iyaloja-Geberal.”
