LG crisis: Several injured as PDP, APC supporters clash in Osun
Several people were injured across local government areas of Osun State as crisis rocked the state over controversy surrounding the Appeal Court judgement on sacked local government chairmen in the state. Nigerian Tribune reports.
Meanwhile, anxiety and apprehension now enveloped the length and breadth of the state following the invasion of some local government councils by yet-to-be-identified hoodlums attempting to take over the control of the councils.

Tribune Online gathered that the hoodlums, who were armed with cutlasses, guns, matchets, axes, broken bottles, and other dangerous weapons, displayed their weapons violently to register their presence in the invaded council areas and to get people scared from checking their activities.
Some of the councils where the presence of the thugs were felt are: Ayedaade, Boripe, Osogbo, Olorunda, Ila, Isokan, Irewole, Obokun, and Atakumosa local government areas of the state.

In Osogbo, heavy gunshots were recorded when PDP supporters and APC supporters clashed, while in Irewole local government in Ikire, there was a heavy clash between the PDP and APC supporters.
Speaking with our Tribune correspondent, an eyewitness account revealed that four persons were wounded in Iragbiji, Boripe local government area, and had been taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
