Makinde Expresses Displeasure Over Slow Pace of Work at OYSADA Headquarters in Saki
Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde hope of spending Christmas holiday at Saki may appear to have been dashed. The Governor expressed displeasure at the sloe pace of work done at the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA), which would also house Governor’s lodge.
According to GOALPOACHER NEWS, Governor Makinde had promised to always visit the town to spend days with the people of the area.
Makinde made that known when he flagged off the renovation and expansion of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) around June.
After arriving the town, Makinde proceeded to inspect various projects initiated by his administration to ascertain the level of work done on the projects. According to Makinde,
“Today, we inspected some ongoing projects in Saki. The upgrade and expansion of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) Headquarters is running behind schedule. I had hoped to spend Christmas at the Governor’s Lodge here. I look forward to seeing the completed project in March 2021.”
“We were also at the Saki Township Stadium to inspect the ongoing upgrade. Lastly, we visited the construction site for the TESCOM zonal office building. Work is going on smoothly at both sites.”
It is not yet known if Governor Makinde will return to Ibadan today ahead of his birthday which is slated for tomorrow.
