Makinde’s Aide, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Visits Federal Character Commission, Makes Case For Oyo Indigenes on Recruitment Exercise, Other Opportunities

 

The Director-General of the Oyo State Liaison Office Abuja and Lagos, Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji OTOPE, has tasked the Federal Character Commission (FCC) to ensure inclusive opportunities for indigenes of Oyo State in staff recruitments by Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government (MDAs) in line with federal character principle.

The Governor’s aide stated this on Tuesday when he paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner for Federal Character Commission, Professor Olowofela in his office.

Hon Ezekiel expressed the desire of the State to collaborate effectively with the Federal Character Commission in order to benefit more than ever before, in the area of opportunities for Oyo indigenes.

OTOPE was quoted as stating that purpose of the courtesy visit was to discuss the following:

1. Job opportunities for Oyo state indigenes

2. How to liaise with other federal agencies for grants and other empowerment opportunities for the people of Oyo state.

3. The FCC promised to make Oyo State indigenes a top priority on his list.

In his remarks, the Commissioner, Federal Character Commission, Professor Olowofela lauded the DG, Oyo State Liaison Office, Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, stating that the courtesy call was heartwarming, productive and timely.

Olowofela promised to work with Hon. Ezekiel Temitope and his agency on every opportunity available for oyo state people.
