The Area Commander of the Akinyele Area Command, Man O War, Nig; CSM (Amb.) Lasisi A.D. this evening commended the unrelenting efforts of officers of the Oyo State Command of the Nigerian Police Force over the rearrest of the Akinyele serial killer, Sunday Shodipe.
In a statement signed by the Mr. Lasisi, he hails the diligence of the Police and specifically commends the Commissioner of Police for the achievement.
He also appreciates the people’s governor; Governor Seyi Makinde for his swift response and actions in allaying the fears of Akinyele local government residents.
He hereby appeals to the general public to always give useful information to the Police whenever they perceive criminals and criminal activities around them.
In the same light, he appeals to the State government to consider uniformed, non governmental organizations as Man O War, Nigeria and her members in the forthcoming recruitment of the State Security Network; Amotekun.
Finally, he advised the youths to be wary of criminal activities and encouraged them to be purposeful and hardworking, as only hard work yields success.
