The Chairman of a socio-political group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South West Youth Alliance, Omotayo Ashiru has come to the defense of Hon. Dare Adeleke in light of the recent fake news that has been making waves on social media and other platforms.
The Chairman of the Group stressed that these attacks were cooked up by the usual suspects and these kind of fake news should be ignored by the good people of Oyo State.
Omotayo who spoke with journalists in Ibadan on Saturday added that Hon Adeleke has been widely know to have a pure track record of efficiency and honesty. His words: “the motive of the sponsors of the media attacks against Hon Adeleke is to ensure that no project or policy initiated by him for the development of the agency succeeds.
“No one who has the love of Oyo State at heart will support such a malicious and frivolous allegation. It is baseless and should be ignored. Those faceless group behind the spurious allegation have become jittery ever since Governor Seyi Makinde’s camp won the Southwest PDP zonal congress held in Oshogbo.
” The campaign of calumny against the PTS Chairman is in bad state. It is pregnant with ulterior motives. Hon Adeleke must not surrender, he must not succumb to cheap blackmail. A captain does not abandon ship in stormy waters. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.” Omotayo concluded.
