The Sanmori Adini of Oyo land, Chief Babatunde Ologburo has commended the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), over the conduct of the local government elections in the state.
Ologburo gave the commendation on Saturday while speaking with journalists after casting his vote at Ladigbolu Grammar School polling unit, Oyo East local government area of the state.
According to him, “from all indications, the election was peaceful in Oyo federal constituency and you could see that people trooped out in large numbers to exercise their civic responsibility.”
“OYSIEC has performed excellently and from all indications, our votes will count.
“Also, I want to use this medium to commend Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for keeping to his words that OYSIEC will conduct free, fair and credible elections that will be acceptable to everyone.
