The Deputy National Chairman, (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ige Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary today.
In a congratulatory statement personally issued by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja but made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, the PDP chieftain lauds the celebrant for his leadership role in the development of Ibadanland and other traditional stools in Oyo State and beyond.
“Today, we celebrate not just the life of a highly revered Traditional leader but also a life dedicated to the growth of Ibadan and community development which Baba is known for”.
While thanking Almighty Allah for sparing the life of the celebrant to celebrate 90 years on earth, Arapaja stressed that his penchant for truth, hard work, equity and justice set him apart as a distinguished traditional leader.
Arapaja also eulogized His Imperial Majesty for his constant prayers and support for the present administration under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde.
He prayed to God to grant Baba continued sound health and wisdom to serve Ibadan and humanity.
