A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao (Allow Alao), has extended warm felicitations to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, on the occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary.
Alao in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available by his Media Office, said the last five decades of the monarch have been eventful culminating in his ascension to the throne of his forefathers, stating that his leadership qualities is unquestionable.
He said the birthday of the first class monarch is an opportunity to celebrate a father figure to many all over the world, stating that Oyo kingdom has witnessed tremendous tranquility under his watch.
According to him, within the short time of his reign Oba Owoade has shown his commitment to peace, cultural preservation and traditional values not only in Oyo kingdom but throughout Yorubaland.
The Asiwaju of Irokoland while urging every son and daughter of Oyo to continue to support Oba Owoade in his development agenda for the ancient town, said the monarch is a symbol of unity and justice.
He said, “I want to sincerely rejoice with our reverred monarch, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, for reaching the milestone age of 50 years in good health being the first he would celebrate on the throne of his forefathers.
“It is my fervent prayer that Oba Owoade will continue to reign in good health, peace and divine wisdom as a dependable bridge between the past, present and future.”
