The Oyo State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Professor Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin has congratulated Muslims in Oyo State on the occasion of Eidel-Fitri celebration.
Dahud who is the pioneer acting Chairman of Oyo State Electricity Regulatory Commission prayed that may Allah (SWT) fill our homes with joy, our hearts with contentment, and our land with peace and prosperity.
“As we approach the end of this blessed month of Ramadan, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah across Oyo State.
“Alhamdulillāh for the privilege granted to us by Allah (SWT) to witness and partake in this sacred month of fasting, prayers, reflection, and devotion.
“Ya Allah (SWT), we have observed this holy month to the best of our ability.
“We humbly beseech You to accept our Ṣiyām (fasting), Qiyām (night prayers), Du‘ā (supplications), and all acts of ‘Ibādah, and to forgive our shortcomings, both known and unknown.
“In Your infinite mercy, do not make this our last Ramadan. Grant us the grace to witness many more in good health, peace, and barakah. Count us among those freed from the Hellfire and admit us into Jannatul Firdaus.
“May the virtues we have embraced — sabr (patience), taqwā (God-consciousness), sacrifice, and compassion — continue to guide our daily lives beyond Ramadan and strengthen the unity, peace, and progress of our dear Oyo State.
“As we prepare to celebrate ‘Eid al-Fitr, may Allah (SWT) fill our homes with joy, our hearts with contentment, and our land with peace and prosperity.
“Taqabbalallāhu minnā wa minkum.

“Eid Mubarak to the entire Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and beyond.”
