Oyo Muslim Leaders Praise Oluokun for Promoting Religious Harmony
Leaders of the Muslim community in Oyo and its surrounding areas expressed their appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Hon. Olusola Oluokun Peter, for his efforts in fostering religious harmony.
The delegation, led by Dr. Abdul Muhmin and including representatives from Oyo East, Oyo West, Atiba, and Afijio Local Governments, gathered to commend the chairman on his leadership.
The visit featured remarks from Malam Abdullateef Jimoh, the association’s treasurer and General-Secretary, who presented a congratulatory letter on behalf of the community.
He praised Hon. Oluokun for his recent electoral success and highlighted the positive impact of a viral video that showcased the chairman’s character and gratitude towards his benefactors, stressing the values of love and respect that resonate within the community.
Malam Najmdeen (Olosa Oba) also spoke during the visit, commending Hon. Oluokun for his visionary leadership and expressing hope for a successful and uninterrupted tenure.
