In a statement released at the party secretariat in Molete, Ibadan, the State Party Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, urged the appointees to align their actions with the sustainable development agenda encapsulated in Omituntun 2.0 of Governor Seyi Makinde. Emphasizing the significance of their roles, he charged them not to betray the trust reposed in them and to serve as exemplary ambassadors of the Party in the Government.

Mufutau Ogunremi, Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo Central Senatorial District, as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals. This move, according to Hon. Ogungbenro, is a testament to the party’s unwavering commitment to meritocracy and inclusivity.
Hon. Ogungbenro assured the new appointees of the Party’s unwavering support, pledging that any deviation from the party and Governor Makinde’s vision for sustainable development in Oyo state will not be tolerated.
