Participants at the Aquaculture Value Chain training organised and sponsored by the Federal Lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, Hon Oluyemi Taiwo on Saturday received their certificates after completing a two-day training programme which started on Thursday at the College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Recall GOALPOACHERS.COM had reported the commencement of the training programme on Thursday. The statement made available to our correspondent this Saturday by one of his aides, Adelowo Michael Coded read:
“The Day 2 Training in Aquaculture Value Chain for the 20 selected beneficiaries in his Federal Constituency of Ibarapa East/Iddo was fully theoretical and practical classes.”
“Hon. Yemi Taiwo said the motive behind him sponsoring an empowerment program like this for his Constituents is not far fetch from the fact that Agricultural sector of this country has once been the main revenue mainstay of this country and to support the drive of both the federal government and Oyo state government in bringing back alive the sector, he decided to empower his Constituents on how they can be productive in fish farming which can in turn take them out of poverty for life if opportunity well utilized by the 20 beneficiaries from his Federal Constituency Ibarapa East and Ido.”
