PDP National reconciliation Committee meets with Oyo PDP leaders, seeks for Arapaja’s continuous Unification agenda
The PDP National reconciliation Committee led by the Former Senate President of the 8th Assembly, Dr. Abubakr Bukola Saraki in a move to have a more unified PDP family and with the assignment saddled to his committee by the national party meets with stakeholders and party Leaders of Oyo PDP.
In a press release signed by the Special Assistant news media and publicity to the National Vice Chairman South West Bamitale Ibrahim made available to news men in ibadan.
In his own opening speech, the Chairman of the committee said that we have no other party than PDP and there is no other party structure that can be compared with ours.
“Differences are sacrosant since we are in human institution” he emphasized.
“Oyo state is known for its pacesetting status and it’s important we keep displaying the mantra while we make our party a reference for other brooding political parties”
History will never forget everyone of us for the roles we are playing, I will advise that we avert the ugly trend as a matter of urgency.
In his own speech the National Vice-chairman Southwest PDP, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja said for time immemorial, he has always been an advocate of unification agenda and this should be paramount to everyone and that he has been working all round the clock to ensure fairness and orderliness within the party Stakeholders. He emphasized that our mandate is to deliver all Southwest States for our parry..
He also advised that all lingering crisis within party leaders should be completely resolved forthwith and no further committee should be setup, because we are one big family.
His Excellency the Governor of Oyo State, said, it’s important for all to know that bitterness won’t take us to anywhere, that those who are aggrieved g should know that, sometimes, he might not even know his offenses, that he has always want to run an all inclusive government. He further stated that he is ready to meet all members that have one grievances or the other in order to have more stable party.
His Excellency also noted that the alliance always work and we should all keep up our work to continue to win and keep APC away from the corridor of power, because the issue of winning election goes beyond Seyi Makinde.
Some aggrieved leaders during their responses, appreciated the effort of the reconciliation commitee in making sure the party is truly repositioned and promised to work hand in hand with one another.
In his own final submissio, the chairman of the committee said now that we all agreed to work together, he would want everyone to have a favourable outcome at the end of the month, and he made a clear warning to those who are pessimistic about this reconciliation moves to rethink and heed to the resolutions.
Dr. Bukola Saraki further appeal to all members to be in a perfect accord in order to make the party great. He also advised that we should continue to work with the leader of the party and state Governor.
