In the spirit of togetherness and love for my Federal Constituency,I, Rt. Hon. Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo today June 9th, 2021 return all glory to God Almighty for sparing my live, that of my love ones till today and for his continuous love in equipping me with Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding in representing my people at the federal level in Abuja.
Like I promise during the celebration of my first year in office last year, that, ‘I won’t let you down’, I will today repeat same promise that ‘I won’t let my Federal Constituency down in good representation’.
Though, the last 12 months between June 10, 2020 and June 9, 2021 was so tough with COVID-19 Pandemic related issues which has crumbled many countries economic activities which Nigeria as a country and National Assembly as legislative Chambers are not excluded.But still, that does not stop me from proper representation of my people at the Federal Level of National Assembly.
Below are my 2nd Year Achievements in office as The Federal Honorable Member Representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Nigeria:

A . CERTIFICATION AND EMPOWERMENT OF MY CONSTITUENTS IN TWO DAYS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM ON BRACKISH WATER CAGE CULTURE AT FEDERAL COLLEGE OF FISHERIES AND MARINE TECHNOLOGY, VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS. On September 10th – 11th, 2020. (All 50 beneficiaries were given start up cash)
*B* . CAPACITY BUILDING AND EMPOWERMENT OF FARMERS ON PLANTING AND PROCESSING OF BIO-FORTIFIED CASSAVA. The Program was held in Lanlate on November 23rd-24th, 2020.

*C* . Two Days Capacity Building and Empowerment Training on Paint Making And Marketing Program held on 26th to 27th of November, 2020 in Eruwa Town Hall.
(All 80 beneficiaries were given start up cash)
*D* . Vocational Training And Empowerment Of Women and Youths In Fish Farming And Production In Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency held on 29th to 30th of November in Ido LG.
(All 70 beneficiaries were given start up cash and Tarpaulin Fish Ponds)
*E* . Capacity Building and Empowerment of Unemployed Youths On
Farming in Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency. Held in Ido LG on 20th to 21st of December, 2020.
(All 50 beneficiaries were given start up kits with cash)
*F* . Another One Day Capacity Building and Empowerment Training on Paint Making And Marketing Program held in Ibarapa East LG Hall.

*G* . The last One Day Capacity building And Empowerment Of Women and Youths In Fish Farming And Production In Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency held in Ido LG.

*ON POWER*
If you all remembered in my first year in office celebration last year, I visited the site of the 10yrs ongoing Powerline Sub-Stations Project at Lagaye junction along Maya Express which I facilitated during my time in office as the federal honorable member representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency and which I promised every necessary follow ups to making sure the project is a completed one, The Federal Executive Council as at 27th of January, 2021 approved the sum of N124.2 million for the completion of work on two power sub-stations in Oyo and Ogun States.
The council approved two months extension and the sum of N124.2 million for the variation of contract for the construction of sub-stations projects in Lanlate, Oyo State and Abeokuta in Ogun State.
The project when completed will light up Ibarapa and environs which will inturn increase the rate of investors into the communities.
SOLAR POWER LIGHT UP PROJECT OF APETE TO AWOTAN
As the Good people of Apete to Awotan were still in joyful mood over the reconstruction of the road project embarked upon by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, I, Rt. Hon. Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo crowns their joy by lighting up Apete axis to Awotan with All In One Solar Light project to prevent crime rates at night due to high students population density of the environs.
We have sons, daughters, brothers and sisters who are attending The Polytechnic of Ibadan and staying in Apete.
Their safety is of utmost importance to all of us.

ON EDUCATION
A. Reconstruction of Itabo Community Primary School, Lanlate.
B. Two blocks of Three Classrooms fully furnished with modern furnitures for pupils and teachers at Baptist Primary School, Lanlate
C . Facilitated Free 2021 Jamb Registrations for Secondary school Children from my Federal Constituency
D. Facilitated Federal Govt Scholarship of N250,000 per year for 5yrs For a student in my Federal Constituency Studying Medicine At University of Ibadan. First Payment of N250,000 for this year was released two months ago to the beneficiary’s account.
ON YOUTHS AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT.
As the Present President of Nigeria Mini Football Association, I facilitated the Hosting Right of The Second Edition of 2021 African Mini Football Nations Cup to Oyo State where 16 African Nations Mini Football National Teams will be participating at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts, Akanran, Ibadan comes July 8th to July 17th, 2021.
The tournament will in turn help in showcasing Football talents, improve Oyo State Economic activities and promote tourism in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
ON HEALTH
A .Distribution of medical equipments to General Hospitals in Lanlate and Eruwa of Ibarapa East and Alada Primary Health Care Centre, Ido and Awotan General Hospital in Ido LG.
B. Donated Two Fully Equipped Medical Ambulances for Mobile Medical Outreaches/Treatments for usages of my Constituents of Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.The ambulances will be parading our markets and busy areas for medical check-up of minor treatments like (Malaria, Diabetes, Blood Sugar etc) and referring those in need of major treatments to appropriate quarters for proper Treatments. It is also be used to transport emergency cases to places where necessary.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES
A. Gave out Several recommendation letters to my constituents for jobs at both government and private establishments of which many feedbacks were positives.
*B* . As a member of House Committee on Poverty Alleviation at the Green Chamber, I was able to Facilitated additional slots of Npower to 100 beneficiaries of my Constituents. This is in addition to the already 60 slots shared across wards in my Federal Constituency making a total of 160 slots,
C . Facilitated payments of N30,000 SURVIVAL FUND of the FG for 160 beneficiaries from my Federal Constituency;
D. Also, I Facilitated the payments of N20,000 each for 130 Artisans from Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency as poverty alleviation.
ON OVERSIGHTS FUNCTIONS
As a member of different committees in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, I was able to actively participate in various oversights functions both within and outside Nigeria.

National Assembly House of Representatives Public Account House Committee Invitation To All Federal Government Agencies like Npower, National Social Safety Net, Government Enterprise And Empowerment Programme, Conditional Cash Transfer, Home Grown Feeding, UBEC, SDGs, Transmission Company of Nigeria, TETfund etc in Oyo State.
*C* . 2021 EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF ECOWAS PARLIAMENT IN SIERRA LEONE
*D* . HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON BASIC EDUCATION OVERSIGHT FUNCTION TO OYO STATE SUBEB AND COURTESY VISITATION TO THE EXECUTIVE GOV. OF OYO STATE.
The delegation of the committee was led to the state on oversight visit to inspect and assess the level of utilization of federal government matching grant released to the state to develop basic education infrastructure by The deputy chairman of the committee, Hon. Usman Zanna (APC, Borno).
Where it was very surprising to know that Oyo state has only accessed and utilized the federal government matching grant intervention projects up to 2019 and Governor Seyi Makinde has also released counterpart funding for 2020 and 2021 deposited in the state SUBEB account awaiting the release of the matching grant from UBEC.
We the committee saw that the budget of Oyo State for Education is even higher than the threshold recommended by UNESCO.
The Committee gave big Kudos to Oyo State Governor and Oyo State SUBEB Chairman.
