PHOTOS: Ibarapa East, Ido agog as Hon Yemi Taiwo Empowers Constituents on Aquaculture
A federal lawmaker, Hon. Yemi Taiwo, representing Ibarapa East and Ido federal constituency, has put smiles on the faces of his constituents, by sponsoring the training of 20 people in aquaculture business.
According to a statement made available to goalpoachernews on Thursday, the 20 beneficiaries of the training had already been lodged in an hotel in Lagos, in readiness for the commencement of the 2-day training, which start on Thursday (today) at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The statement read: “It is with joy that I, Rt. Hon. Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo, announce the commencement of two days training in Aquaculture Value Chain Training, facilitated by me for 20 selected beneficiaries in my Federal Constituency of Ibarapa East/Iddo.”
“The 20 beneficiaries were transported and lodged in an hotel in Lagos yesterday ahead of the commencement of the training today at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Victoria Island, Lagos.”
“I hope at the end of the two days programme tomorrow (Friday), the 20 beneficiaries who will be empowered, will make utmost use of the training to become someone productive in the nearest future.”
“More meaningful and productive empowerment trainings that will take my people get out of poverty are underway,” Hon. Taiwo promised.
