His Excellency Seyi Makinde, FNSE, was on Tuesday, 17 October 2023, represented at the just concluded Future of Innovation Conference organised by the University of New Brunswick Federicton, Canada.

Governor Makinde was invited to the conference as one of the thought leaders who will act as catalysts for thought disruption within the world of innovation.

He was represented at the conference by the Honourable Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Prof Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin, and the Chairman and Pro Chancellor LAUTECH Prof Deji Omole.

The duo participated in a Fireside Chat titled International Collaboration in Innovation while Prof Dahud Shangodoyin presented a paper titled, “The Future of Innovation in Oyo State, Nigeria,” to an audience of thought disruptors from across the globe.
