The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government area of Oyo State, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has put smiles on the faces of fish sellers in the council.
According to Hon Oyedokun, the fish sellers have been worst hit by the current policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria and to alleviate their sufferings, he decided to empower them so that they can expand in their businesses at this torrid time.
He added that the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde remains committed to the wellbeing and economic expansion of Oyo State.
According to him, “My determination has always been to ensure self-reliance and sustainable development among the people of Ogbomoso South Local Government and in view of the present economic reality the country.
‘Again today, Wednesday, I distributed caetond of fish to our people who are fish sellers on a small and medium scale to improve their businesses.
The women who couldn’t hide their joy appreciated the council boss for always identifying with the people of the local government with his personal resources.
