Ramadan Kareem: Hon. Dhikrullahi Adedeji Odidiomo Distributes Bags of Rice, Other Items in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency
In anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Dhikrullahi Adedeji Stanley Odidiomo, the lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency and serving as the Chairman of ICT and Cybersecurity in the Federal House of Representatives, has exemplified compassion and commitment to his constituents by distributing food items.
Following through on his pledge made during a radio interview on Fresh FM in February, Hon. Odidiomo reiterated his unwavering dedication to the welfare of his constituents.
He promised to prioritize their well-being, particularly during the fasting month of Ramadan and further cushion the effects of the current economic hardship on his constituents.
True to his word, he has now fulfilled this promise by providing essential food items to support an easier Ramadan fast for his Muslim faithfuls.
The distribution process unfolded in two phases. The first phase took place on Wednesday, March 2024, with rice deliveries to the people of the Ibadan Southwest local government.
Subsequently, the second phase was done on Friday, March 8, 2024, in Ibadan Northwest local government.
Expressing warm wishes to the Muslim community observing Ramadan, Hon. Odidiomo extended his heartfelt greetings of Ramadan Kareem to all constituents.
He prayed for a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, hoping that all supplications would be graciously answered during this sacred period.
In keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, the astute parliamentarian quoted a verse from the Quran which encapsulates the significance and blessings of this holy month:
“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.” (Quran 2:183).
Through his benevolent actions, Hon. Dhikrullahi Adedeji Stanley Odidiomo continues to embody the values of empathy and communal support, enriching the lives of his constituents during this auspicious time.
In their remarks, the beneficiaries of Odidiomo’s generosity and benevolent act, lauded his philanthropic gestures targeted at ameliorating their plights.
They called on other political functionaries in the Federal Constituency to emulate the humanitarian act of Odidiomo who always identify with the people on different occasions.
