Ramadan: Kunle Yusuff (MON) Inaugurates Free Feeding Centre in Lagelu
The Senior Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Honourable Kunle Yusuff MON, on Friday Inaugurated a feeding centre at Elewuro Junction, Oju- Irin Akobo, along Olohunda, Ibadan.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftcain at Akinyele, Lagelu Federal Constituency maintained that the programme is aimed at assisting people in the constituency, irrespective of political differencies and religious colorations.
Hon Yusuff called on corporate organisations and public spirited individuals to support this initiative so that more people could benefit from it at this critical time, especially during the Holy month of Ramadan.
He, however, thanked all the people of the state for their support and prayers for the Seyi Makinde led administration.
He noted that the gesture will continue till the end of the Ramadan period while over 100 hundred residents are expected to be fed daily.
Earlier, the SDGs boss had distributed some food items which include Rice, Milk and Sugar among other items.
Some of the beneficiaries, Tajudeen Adeleke, Lateef Babatunde, Teslim Badmus and Taiwo Salau thanked Kunle Yusuff for the gesture and said: “We are happy that you remembered us at such a critical time of need. Alh. Lateef Adegboyega led the Prayers for the State, PDP and Governor Seyi Makinde in Particular.
“We pray that God Almighty will continue to bless you and replenish your purse for giving out to the needy during this holy month of Ramadan”
