Remi Tinubu: Why I will keep singing, dancing despite criticism – Gov Adeleke

Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke, says he will not stop dancing despite public criticism, insisting that his love for dancing does not interfere with his duties.
Adeleke stated this on Wednesday during an interview on Politics Today.

The governor, widely known for his energetic dance steps since his days in the Senate — a trait that earned him the nickname “Dancing Senator” — said dancing is simply his way of expressing joy and worship.
“Let me tell you something: I will keep dancing because I love to dance, I love to praise my God. That doesn’t change anything.
“Everybody has their way of relaxing or hobby. My hobby is to dance and praise my God. That does not affect my work,” he stated.
His remarks come amid heightened public attention following his recent political shift.
TRIBUNE ONLINE had earlier reported Adeleke resigned on Tuesday evening from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and defected to the Accord Party ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
The Accord Party, on Wednesday, formally handed him its governorship ticket during its primaries held in Osogbo.
