A former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu, has described the death of Abisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, as a profound loss to both the Ajimobi family and the wider community of Oyo State.

Abisola reportedly passed away in the United Kingdom at the age of 42, leaving behind a legacy of commitment to social causes and community development.

Her untimely death has sent shockwaves through the political and social landscape of the state.

In a heartfelt condolence message issued in Ibadan, Sen. Sunmonu expressed her deep sorrow, stating, “Words cannot fully encapsulate the grief we feel at the loss of Abisola”

” She was a beacon of hope and a passionate advocate for the welfare of people. Her contributions to society will always be remembered.”

Sympathizing with her dear sister, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu prayed that Almighty God will comfort her and the entire family.

The former speaker extended her condolences to the Ajimobi family, saying, “I stand in solidarity with the Ajimobi family during this difficult time.”

“May God grant them the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss, and may Abisola’s soul rest in eternal peace.”

Meanwhile, as news of Abisola Kola-Daisi’s passing spreads, many across the state and beyond are coming together to honour her memory, reflecting on her impact and the void her absence will create in the hearts of those who knew her.
