Six Months After, Makinde Pardons Olore, As Family Members Return To Olore Islamic Centre Earlier Marked For Demolition
The leader of Olore Islamic Centre, Khalifa Muhammed Abdurasheed Olore has expressed his profound gratitude to the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for the pardon granted him and his family as they return to the Islamic Centre which serves as their residence. Abdurasheed Olore in a video obtained by GOALPOACHER NEWS said,
“On the permission of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Khalifa Muhammed Abdurasheed Olore and members of the Olore Family today today 9th of May,2020 returned to the Olore Islamic centre, Ojoo, Ibadan.”

Recall Governor Seyi Makinde had ordered the demolition of the Correctional Centre where 259 inmates were rescued in an operation led by the State Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu 191 men, 34 women, 11 children and 23 sick persons who were illegally held captive,some in chains, were freed, while nine suspects including the owner of the centre were arrested.
