Youths in the State have been advised to maximise their potentials as it will pave way for their success in life.
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede made this known today during A-Day National Youth Service Corp Stakeholders’ forum, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports held at the Oyo State House of Chiefs Secretariat Ibadan.
According to the Commissioner service year is a great opportunity for every Corp members to utilize their potentials. Adding that Oyo State has done everything in it power to create an enabling environment for Corp members to strive.
He therefore urged Corp members to maximise the opportunity given them since National Youth Service Corp is a unifying factor which is creating avenue for Youths to experience life outside their own communities, also promoting inter-cultural and social relationship.
During his lecture, the guest speaker Mr. Bashorun Adeniji Saint Abey made it known that there is an appointed time for everything we do in life.
He therefore urged the Corp members to unleash their potential in other to be great in life.
Amongst the stakeholders present at the program were; the National Youth Service Corp, State Coordinator who was represented by Mr Adeniji Adeayeni, Special Adviser to the Government on Youth, Honourable Tobi Oyewumi, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Oludele Oyadeyi, Professor Temitope Alonge, the Director for Youth Mrs. Mustapha kadijat,
amongst others.
