A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State, Mogaji Olasunkanmi Tegbe has congratulated Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun on the occasion of his 81st birthday.
Tegbe, the Oyo South Senatorial candidate of the PDP noted that His Imperial Majesty, Oba Balogun has continued to strive for the progress and unity of Nigeria, and working tirelessly for the development and growth of Ibadan and her people.
“On behalf of my family and the entire Oguntegbe dynasty, I felicitate with our Father, His Imperial Majesty; Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, the Olubadan of Ibadan as he clocks eighty-one years on the face of the earth.
“Longevity is a special grace from Almighty Allah which our revered monarch enjoys.
“It is therefore imperative to thank Almighty Allah on behalf of Kabiyesi, the Ali-Iwo dynasty and indeed all Ibadan sons and daughters.
“Kabiyesi has lived a life of service, striving for the progress and unity of Nigeria, and working tirelessly for the development and growth of Ibadan and her people.
“The cultural tranquility and socio-economic development that Ibadan land and her people have experienced since your ascension to the throne of your ancestors is a testimony to the good fortune your reign has brought to the city and it’s people.
“Once again, on behalf of the entire Oguntegbe compound, I congratulate Kabiyesi as he celebrates a new year today.”
