The Chairman Oyo State Park Management System, PMS, Ambassador Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa has congratulated the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on his coronation and presentation of staff of office.
“Congratulations to Your Imperial Majesty Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin I (The Olubadan of Ibadanland) on your coronation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. For the Ibadan Land, a soldier-statesman is on the throne: richly bejeweled man, dressed in fragrant robes and living on the ivory palace, bringing peace, prosperity and true happiness to his people.
“Kabiyesi, You are that king who finds true happiness and true happiness comes from only one thing in life: to love and be loved. As you begin to reign over us in Ibadan Land, may you find peace, joy and fulfilment.
“May you live long to wear the royal crown for long. May you put on the royal shoes for long.
“May you have multiple of horse tails in the palace because it is easier to have plenty of needles due to its tiny nature. May you grow old, may you have good health, and reign longer on the throne than your forefathers.”
