Hon. Tosin Alabi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hopeful for the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, has applauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his rare show of benevolence, political maturity, and unwavering commitment to the growth and stability of the PDP in Oyo State.
Reacting to the recent commissioning of the PDP State Secretariat, Tosin Alabi described the development as a landmark achievement that reflects Governor Makinde’s belief in strong party institutions as the backbone of sustainable democracy.
According to him, the Governor’s decision to personally invest in party infrastructure goes beyond politics, noting that it underscores a leadership style rooted in selflessness, foresight, and deep respect for democratic ideals.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated that true leadership is about building institutions, not personalities.
His benevolence towards the PDP and his consistency in standing by the party, even at critical moments, have strengthened internal cohesion and restored confidence among party faithful,” Tosin Alabi stated.
The House of Representatives hopeful commended the Governor for remaining steadfast to the PDP, stressing that such loyalty has helped reposition the party as a disciplined, organized, and people-oriented political platform in Oyo
State.
Tosin Alabi further noted that the newly commissioned Secretariat serves not just as a physical structure, but as a symbol of unity, resilience, and renewed commitment to progressive governance, adding that it will enhance coordination, strategy, and inclusiveness within the party.
He assured PDP members across Egbeda, Ona Ara, and the entire state that the party remains solid and focused, attributing this stability to Governor Makinde’s principled leadership and respect for party supremacy.
“The PDP in Oyo State is stronger today because we have a leader who believes in carrying everyone along, investing in structures, and defending democratic values.
This is the kind of leadership that inspires confidence and sustains political growth,” he added.
Hon. Tosin Alabi reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP and pledged to continue supporting all efforts aimed at deepening internal democracy and delivering people-centred governance, both at the state and national levels.
