Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin has installed former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja as Crown Wearing Oba.
Ladoja had initially rejected the elevation of Olubadan high chiefs to oba status during the administration of late Abiola Ajimobi.
A week ago, Senator Ladoja who is the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland decided to change his stance and accepted to receive the crown.
The installation ceremony was performed by the Olubadan of Ibadanland at the new ultramodern palace.
The instrument of office was presented to the former Governor by Oyo acting Governor, Bayo Lawal.
