“You’re a Credible Leader” – Alawode Women’s Wing Shower Praises on Arole Omituntun

 

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode has been described as a credible leader, a strong benefactor and a tireless supporter of women in Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.

This was stated by the Alawode women’s wing, comprising of thousands of women in Ibadan land, who recently paid a courtesy visit to the council boss at the council secretariat, Mapo Hill Ibadan.

In her speech, the Women Leader of PDP, Ibadan South East Local Government, who led a delegation of the women, Hon. Kudirat Babatunde noted that Hon. Alawode has made tremendous contributions to ensure the even development of Ibadan South East Local Government and the women are proud of his tangible achievements and appreciate his sustainable inclusion of women in his activities.
Mrs Babatunde reiterates that Hon. Alawode is a Divine gift to the women’s fold and has given myriad of opportunities to women and youths in Ibadanland.

While appreciating the Alawode Women’s wing for their support to his administration and political ambition, the Arole Omituntun expressed delight that this country is abundantly blessed with brilliant, bold and courageous women who are making invaluable contributions to the progress of the nation.
He described Women as the backbone of families and communities.

They provide care, support, and nurturing to their families and are essential to the development of children.
Hon. Alawode firmly believes that women play significant roles in community building, the equitable participation of women in politics is essential for strong democracies and for sustainable development.

He then promised his unwavering commitment to women’s fold and their continuous involvement in his administration.
The delegation of the women later presented a gift to the council Chairman for his birthday that came up recently.
