Nigeria’s foremost school of Advertising and Digital Marketing Academy, 02 Academy, collaborated with an Ibadan-based Media consulting company, Canwest Media, to start the advertising school in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
02 Academy is a hands-on BRANDS & MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS CREATIVE SCHOOL that is certified by the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and Recognized by the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN).
According to a statement by the organization’s provost, OZOEMENA MBANEFO (OZONE), the Ibadan branch will be opened on the 8th of October and it will be the first of its kind branch in the Southwest region of the country.
“We are headed to Ibadan as we open the first-of-its-kind branch in Southwest on the 8th of October, 2021.”
While speaking with Ibadan Media correspondent, the CEO of Canwest media, Oluwaseun Ayodeji Oluwajana, said, he was happy about the new development and this will give the people of Ibadan and Oyo State the opportunity of attending advertising school without going to the Lagos office of 02 Academy.
“We are pleased to inform you that Nigeria’s leading advertising school positioned to help minds hone their skills launching in Ibadan and the aim is to let our people in the city have access to this professional training which will boost their carrier and businesses as advertising/media practitioners.” Seun Jana noted.
