There was excitement in Ibadan South East Local Government area on Wednesday as the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode flagged off the Asphaltic pavement overlaying, Retaining walls and hydraulic structures of road from CAC Church, Eleta to Academy overhead bridge in the council area.
The flag off was part of programmes marking the 100days in office of Hon. Alawode.
The Arole Omituntun, Hon. Alawode, who described the project as another dividend of democracy said it was part of the fulfilment of promises made to the good people of Ibadan South East Local Government.
The council boss appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for the opportunity given him to serve his people at the grassroots.
“Sir, your commitment to the betterment of our state, your dedication to its welfare, and your tireless efforts to take Oyo State to greater height are commendable”. Hon. Alawode reiterates.
The excited residents who welcomed the Chairman amidst pomp and pageantry eulogised him for his good deeds in making life better for the indigenes and residents of Ibadan South East Local Government.
The council boss was joined to officially flag off the construction by the two members of Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Opeyemi Akande and Hon. Abdulwasiu Olayinka Omikunle, Chairman for Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, PDP Chairman in Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Sulaimon Adesina (World best), Party Leaders, Baba Tiamiyu Abidikugu and Mogaji Abass Oloko.
Chief of Staff, Prince Olusegun Oludaye, the Supervisory Councillor for Works, Hon. Azeez Saheed Olanrewaju, Hon. Sunday Babatunde, the Director of Administration and General Services, Alhaja Tawakalitu Olufunke Adedotun and many others.
