Hon Olusola Peter Oluokun, the Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, has said that his administration will continue to focus on achieving desired goals and community development as the local government welcomes 2025.
In his address, Oluokun highlighted the achievements of the previous year and expressed gratitude to residents for their cooperation and support.
“As we enter this New Year, I want to extend my best wishes to all of you. May 2024 be a year of peace, prosperity, and hope for us all,” he stated.
The chairman underscored the need for continued collaboration between the local government and the citizens to drive development initiatives.
“Let us work together to tackle the challenges we face and create a vibrant community. Your input is crucial in shaping our future,” Oluokun emphasised.
He, then, announced plans for new projects aimed at improving local infrastructure and public services, inviting residents to participate actively in discussions about their needs.
